The female star of "Alias" is Jennifer Garner who plays the role of "Sydney Bristow", a secret agent. She works for an organization called SD-6 which she supposes to be a branch of the CIA. When she tells her boyfriend that she's an agent and he's killed by SD-6 she realizes that she's been had - she's in fact working for a criminal syndicate. Well, I'm still of two minds about this series. First of all the plots for the episodes are sometimes pretty involved and I like that. Annoying is that the last 5 to 10 minutes of each episode are the beginning of a new one that is continued in the following episode - so there are constant cliffhangers. Also annoying is that the episodes are not self containing - sometimes you need to watch three or four before a thread is ended - worse, within those episodes other episodes with yet a different thread might be inserted .... Sometimes the storyline is pretty harebrained, making the series drift towards SciFi. Anyway ... with your brain on partial standby it's a highly enjoyable series - with pretty good yield so far.

I misplaced the tape from the pilot and I only have an MPEG stream of it - not good enough to do caps from it. Since the first season will end soon I think it'll be re-aired within a few month's time
